Good Food Innovation GOLD Award — Food Day Canada
Hard work, perseverance, and vision have been the foundation of our business. Receiving the prestigious Food Day Canada Innovation Gold Award confirms that we’re on the right track!
The team – Lara and Adrian – so enjoyed an incredible week of professional development, learning, and networking at the annual University of Guelph Good Food Innovation Awards.
Annnnnd…. we were so very honoured to have received the Food Day Canada Good Food Innovation Gold Award for the menu we presented.
The University of Guelph and President/Vice-Chancellor Dr. Franco Vaccarino annually host the new winners, showcasing the culinary research that positions the school as “Canada’s Food University.”
Created by Anita Stewart, the University of Guelph’s first food laureate, president of Food Day Canada, a cookbook author and a culinary activist, the award highlights the diversity of Canadian terroir with Food Day Canada, an annual celebration of our homegrown cuisine.
The event highlights and supports Canadian food and the people who, like our team at From Scratch, carefully prepare and present to all of you. It’s a celebration of an evolving food scene that is delicious, healthy, vibrant, and diverse from coast-to-coast, across this great nation of ours.
